NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The Queen of Pop, , faced a health scare when she was rushed to an intensive care unit in New York due to a bacterial infection. As a result, she had to postpone her highly-anticipated world tour to focus on recovery while being at home.

Speaking about his decades-old romance with Madonna, her ex-partner Peter Kentes told the that she was a true fighter and will not listen to her family's pleas to scale back her tour.

Kentes believed that she would recover and continue to pursue her passion for performing and entertaining her fans. “No one beats age but Madonna will conquer this illness and have a successful tour. She’s always been full of energy, out-working other performers, and I can’t see her ever slowing down."

Kentes further supported his belief in Madonna's resilience by sharing old pictures of the superstar from 1978 when she was just 19. In these photos, a glowing Madonna poses for with a radiant smile, exuding confidence and charisma. She was captured striking various poses, dancing and even bending over playfully in a red minidress.
